Have you ever held a lover's hand and felt the real love seep through.
We walked and talked along the shore
I was with my lover, the one I adore
I knew I was in love, just didn't know how much

We laughed and smiled all day long
We were in heaven and nothing was wrong
Then, I reached for her hand, reality set in

Just as I held her hand, the realisation of deep love came to me
My love for her was deeper than any sea
I've loved before but this was new, holding her hand I felt it too

It's only a hand I hear you say
But feminine beauty came to stay
I thought I knew true love, but this is direct from God

This is love of an epic proportion
The realness of hope in all adoration
The message is clear I wrote this to tell her

I hope this writing tells her so
My love for her just grows and grows
All I did was hold her hand.
