Writer"s Cramp entry
Daddy died face down in the drive,
There was nothing that we could do.
Mama found out she had cancer
Within a year her life was through.
We scraped enough to buy the plots
But we couldn't afford a stone
Now that I've won the Lottery
I had them both dug up and cloned.

I spent my life looking for a girl
That could be my ideal life mate
With a special something inside
Skin deep beauty was second rate.
I found a woman I could trust
To her, I did wholly commit
Now that I've won the Lottery
She's nipped, tucked, and perfectly fit.

As an elder of my family,
I'd help out as much as I could
Making my rounds from house to house
I tried to do the things I should
Sometimes my cousins would argue
From my advice, sometimes they ran
Now that I've won the Lottery
They're never to see me again.

I suffer from a failing heart
I'm diabetic and in pain
Don't know how long I have to live
Before I go completely insane.
But the Good Lord smiles down on me
And that makes me feel like a champ
Now that I've won the Lottery
I'd give all to win Writer's Cramp.
