An offer, who could refuse?
Come; stroll thru my garden
Tucked away
Beyond crystal clear pond waters
Follow the soft breeze
Rustling the leaves overhead
Pass the stone Mandarin guards
They will not harm you
For I have let you in
This is my oasis of serenity
These are the images in my head
Not many are invited
See into my mind

Come; stroll thru my garden
Before crossing the threshold
Leave your unpleasant thoughts at the door
Check you footing on the dewy path
Always respect the tradition here
You have been entrusted with my soul

Come; stroll thru my garden
Don't be fooled, though
By the intricately carved panels
Or the gold or jewels within
For I am a simple soul
Only adding to my dream
Pursuing an ideal world of beauty
You too, can be transformed
By my poetic vision of serenity

Come; stroll thru my garden
A dreamy haze to calm your soul
It may seem, at first, ghostly
But soon, would feel like home
You may stay if you like

Come; stroll thru my garden
