The Dreamers Dream

In a poet’s imagination,
Is where it all begins
Then comes the inspiration,
To try flying high again.

I will take you on a trip
The likes you’ve never seen,
So come along with me right now
And live the dreamer’s dream

I can see a wondrous world
Where people are all free,
A place where it is natural
For all to have their liberty.

Where there is no prejudice,
No hunger and no pain
Where no one hurts each other,
There is only love to gain.

Illnesses have disappeared
And sorrows gone away,
Here is only happiness
That comes with each new day.

The world that I describe
In a dream can only be,
Until we can make this happen,
It lives in the heart of you and me.
