Melody of Shadows

My Melody of Shadows is a comfort song;
forevermore will the music come on strong.
I play the song when I long for the light,
when darkness looms and I’m bereft of sight.
Drab shadows dance and then they disappear;
the comfort of the melody remains so clear.

A fading light encore begins to play;
Melody of Shadows to begin the day.
Two dimension image casting out ahead;
vibrant melody of love and life instead.
Alluring is the rhythm deep inside of me;
shadows disappear to lighted melody.
Goodbye to gloom amid the rising sun;
