Harvesting crops in the moonlight
Birds migrating by day
Harvest is over
Winter is hanging in the air
In West Virginia the trees are turning colors
Colors are bursting in my sight
Animals are fattening on the grains.
Trees hibernating are on the horizon
The moon is circling the sky
Lassoing Mars is Venus in the night
The tractor plowing up the sod
Bears dancing to the fiddle
A barn dance underway
"Harvesting the moon".
