When I think about the love of my Savior.
When I See Your Scars

When I see Your scars,
I think of the pain you endured.
I can’t fathom the love in Your heart,
as You faced the nails of death.

When I see Your scars,
I wonder if You questioned
whether the price You paid
was worth the life You gave.

When I see Your scars,
I cannot question the love
deep within Your heart,
driving you to the rugged cross.

When I see Your scars,
I am grateful for Your love –
a love that saved my soul, and
gave me the freedom I seek.
