My Lady Of Eternal Love

My sweet lady of eternal love;

your virgin innocence belies your years;

a soul so simple yet so complex that betrays comprehension;

Like a beautiful red rose, you flower with youth and vigour;

Like a humble river lily, you flow with unending grace;

And like a lovely Daffodil do you please the eyes of anyone that lays them upon you;

A smile that can brighten anyone's day and a laugh that can cure anyone's sadness;

Many would lust after such a pure and amazing heart but you keep them all at bay;

So dogged are their efforts and so determined is your defence;

But with every advance you prevail;

And yet their disappointments with your smiles you do avail;

And I take comfort in the one true fact that no matter what comes;

Your heart always and forever will be mine;
