If - A Mirror Poem

If you love them, and want to affect them, echo their behavior.
Be a mirror they can use to see them self.
If they love you, they’ll begin to question.
If they begin to question, they'll start to see.
If they can see, they might start to understand.
If they can understand, they could believe.
If they can believe, even for a moment, they’ll see your soul.
If they can see your soul, even for only a moment, they will be angry because it was not what they expected.
If you then become angry; you will see yourself in a mirror of their making.
