It's just a story, right? I mean, it's not real. Stephanie? Stephanie?!
[Introduction]
"Stephanie? Steph, hurry up! You alway wait till the last minute for ..., well, everything.", Amanda complained of her best friend. She had noticed how none of the lights were on while searching for her through the house. Even now she didn't think to ask about it which was certainly out of character for young Amanda. She was the responsible one, the good one. it wasn't Amanda who got caught sneaking out of the house to run around with boys late night and it wasn't her that was caught we got a pack of cigarettes and alcohol on her breath several times. No, Amanda was the one that always turned in her assignments. Choose the right oath, she was the one that tidied up after her friends. Not one of them, not even Stephanie ever appreciated that. It certainly bothered her, but her insecurities got the best of her and was never able to stand up for herself and demand better treatment from, not just Stephanie, but every friend she'd ever had. She deserved better, she knew it, but the thought that they might become angry with her, shun her kept her from even trying to yank at the chain around her neck. Perhaps they'd decide she was more trouble than she was worth. Certainly bad friends weren't any better than no friends. She had no idea where such a belief would come from but there it was.

The lack of appreciation would extend to this night as well, however this would be the last night she'd ever be treated disrespectfully by them again. Her insecurities didn't only stem from being walked on. She never entirety developed a true feminine form. She was tall, 6-foot easily and her features went more along the lines of a pudgy boy than that of a now grown young woman. She was cute, but her lack of confidence stole even this from her. She concentrated on being the best Amanda she could regardless of what stared back at her from the mirror.
She was an honors student, played sports, debate team, full ride scholarships to choose from, she had all of it.

Quite the contrast from Stephanie, the useless, as their other friends referred to her, though it was small consolation, the group of friends treated Stephanie almost as badly as they treated Amanda. The difference was that Stephanie didn't care. She didn't consider the other girl's friends, at least not in the traditional sense. She kept them around so she wouldn't be too bored on boyless nights. Amanda was a true friend to her while Steph was the closest thing Amanda had to a real friend.

It wasn't what you would call an equal friendship. It was more parasitic than anything else. Adding insult to injury, Amanda was 100% heterosexual. She may have looked like a boy, but that's where any manliness ended. it would have been some small consolation has she like girls also, but even here, with a curious semi-uninhibited Steph, bubkis, denied by her own lack of interest. She just didn't like girls. Boys all thought she looked too much like a guy to want to be seen with her. They were nice about it, fearing her wrath should they draw her ire. If she ever married it would be for love, that's what she always said to herself. She knew the reality was far more cruel than she cared to dwell on.
Steph once again earned her title, useless and just to put an exclaimation point on it, not only was her semi friend, Stephanie nodding off with her earbuds in, her bags weren't even packed and deputy Don, Amanda's uncle was running late this evening. Amanda had her heart set on going camping with her uncle and the rest of the girls, along with a few others arthe kids from the town and, boys to keep the teenage girls company, so to speak. add Amanda, she always enjoyed camping with your family and have not done so many years. She was looking forward to this for what it was, a last hurrah at hand and Stephanie was doing what seemed beyond the call of duty to ruin it.
Amanda, pushed ever so close to the brink had so far choke back. With a shock she never thought she'd receive at the hands of weak-willed Amanda, she yelped and jumped off the bed when Amanda's foot viciouly jucked along the upper thigh. For several seconds she said nothing. It was unbelievable. Amanda wouldn't complain about anything to anyone. Amanda had never been heard to complain by anybody, come to think of it. And of course, oblivious Stephanie never considered the fact that somebody under that much pressure for so long might very well snap. At 6 foot almost 1 and 202 lb, petite little Stephanie wouldn't have stood a chance which was precisely what Amanda was thinking. Her pale skin now showing red in anger.
She was having none of it.

"GET UP! YOU ARE NOT SCREWING UP MY LAST CAMPING TRIP IN THIS MEANINGLESS TOWN JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO WORTHLESS TO PACK A DAMN BAG!", Amanda screamed, beyond the top of her lungs.
20 years of one sided friendship with nothing close to a thank you from Stephanie nor the rest had come to a head at that exact moment and Stephy Useless had a front row seat for the ensuing fireworks. She didn't even realize she'd begun emptying her bladder on to her own bed through her clothes until she'd finished and the pee began cooling. Horrified that is impossible act was being done by the quietest most easily taken advantage of human being ever, her shock was complete when the entirety of what was happening dawned on her. Amanda's fists closed to the point of not feeling them anymore, her chest was out breathing heavily two inches from Stephanie's face. Amanda's contorted fac left no doubt as to the seriousness of the situation. Not moving in any way, almost not breathing, Steph didn't feel safe , she just kept shaking & pissing herself.

Wise on her part as it would have taken precious little for Amanda beat her bloody. Amanda was in full control of her senses, however and knew exactly what she was doing. The only reason she didn't start wailling on her was that her uncle, a sheriff's deputy, was on his way right then and would have had no choice but to arret to arrest her. She was angry, not stupid. Stephanie kept her mouth full of teeth for no other reason.
