A Rose in the Garden

Took a walk along the path in the garden love
Beside an Angel, blessing from above
A moment so surreal, must be a dream
Most beautiful lady, mine eyes ever seen

We walked along the path, hand in hand
Passing chipmunks playing in the sand
Stopped by the Gazebo, the Angel strike a pose
A vision so inspiring to write poetry or prose

Made our way beneath a grand oak tree
There on a bench, this Angel sat with me
Sharing conversations made us both smile
Warmth of her being felt like heaven for awhile

Beneath the oak tree secret roses revealed
The magic of the moment hard to concealed
Most beautiful Rose graced me with her presence
Mesmerizing to share in her essence

We marked the moment on the Big Oak tree
Engraving our initials for everyone to see
looked in each other’s eyes, brought us to a kiss
A moment to cherish a moment of bliss
