My purification complete,
One chance to find favor,
In the sight of my king.

For such a time as this:
Prostrate at your feet,
Trembling under the weight of my purpose,
Praying for strength.

For such a time as this:
The fear threatens to overtake me,
Tries to deny me boldness enough,
To approach you, oh my king.

For in such a time as this:
My heart pounds in my ears,
And would betray me,
If God did not give me courage.

For such a time as this:
Your golden sceptre bids me come,
For even the king serves God’s purpose,
The salvation of His people.
