Where do I start?

So I got the writing part down. That I have been doing since I was 19. The issue is the marketing and sales. I keep hearing about query letters but no one seems to want to explain what those are or why they are needed. So far I have marketed on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linked In. I also have a store on Shopify.

It seems I am just one of a million books on Amazon and no sales. I don't have the resources to hire a publisher as this is still in my hobby phase.

I will patiently wait as this is my 10 year retirement plan and would like to get the ball rolling at some point.



Any adviced from newbies and seasoned writers is greatly appreciated!
