Entry to Why? Why not? September 2019

Classes ending on Thursday
Friday and Saturday relaxing
Preparing for church on Friday night
My schedule throwing me off
Friday seeming like Saturday
My internal clock going off.

Friday a writing day Saturday off
Studying and working would be preferred
On the other hand relaxing is lots of fun
Enjoying a day walking or doing my own thing
Talking on the phone all day
Reading and watching football games
Why not take Monday too
Well as a matter of fact...

Four day weekends every week
Kissing my wife in my dreams
Seeing her smile at my success
Working all week dragging me down
Long weekends serving my King
Reading and studying at my leisure
Writing for fun and working hard
Why and why not bombing my brain.

Author notes: I attend class on Tuesday and Thursday. This gives me a four day weekend. On the one hand it is good because I can relax and catch up on homework. I also get to write poetry, which I love doing. On the other hand, it leaves me with a lot of time on my hands. I have to be creative to keep from going stir-crazy. Essentially, there are two Saturdays for me.
