It wasn’t what she guessed, it was so much better.
“Where are you going?”

“Out to the garage, I left something in the car.”

“I’d rather you didn’t.”

“What? Why? I just left a little bag with a new pair of ear rings. I want to try them with my dress for the acceptance dinner.”

“Why not tomorrow?”

“What’s going on? What have you done that you don’t want me to know?”

“Nothing, just don’t go out there yet.”

“Yet? What’s going on, David? You’re up to something.”

“No, just don’t go out there.”

“Okay, how long do I have to wait?”

“Until midnight.”

“Midnight?... oh, yeah, our anniversary. You sneaky dog, what did you do?”

“I refuse to admit to anything! You’ll have to wait for midnight.”

“What if I don’t want to? We are partners, remember?”

“Vividly! I do not ‘tell you,‘ anything, I ask you. I’m asking you, please don’t go out there. I want it all set up when you see it.”

“All set up! Oh my god, you got that huge motor home we looked at. The apartment on wheels. Admit it buddy, if you know what’s good for you...me!

“Only 47 more minutes.”

“Is it time?”

“It’s been 30 seconds.”

“Crap!”

“Now. I want you to wear this blindfold, I guide you and take it off.“

“For gods sake, David!”

“You ready?”

“Yes, do it now . . . Oh . My . God . You bought the Tesla’s!”

“Yeah. 2, model S 100D, but without Ludicrous Mode turned on. The charging stations are being installed Monday.”

“I love you, David.”

“And I You, Ingrid. It’s built like a tank so I feel better knowing your in one.”

“How’ll we tell them apart?”

“You’ll know, believe me. I know I will. It will show your energy over time and you’ll recognize it immediately.”
