A poem about how I want to be alone.
I wish that I lived in the bottom of the sea

Where all my woes and fears, they couldn’t get to me

I wish that I lived in the middle of the ocean

Cause the seagulls and the sea stars don’t care if you’re open

I wish that I lived somewhere in outer space

Because then maybe I wouldn’t have to hide my red face

I wouldn’t have to bathe in makeup just for positive attention

And there’s a subzero chance of human dissension

I’d just sit among the stars

And I’d have never known who you are
