Late at night

Late at night and I'm still awake,

Not sure why.

Got a smile on my face

Won't seem to fade away

That's okay I don't mind



Never thought it'd be like this

Never dreamed I'd miss your kiss

Thought I knew what I wanted best

Yes I made plans

and watched as they all fell apart,

When you walked back into my heart.



Trying hard not to push myself

Or pull you along too fast

I want to be your friend

But more than that I want you

I don't know how to get there

But I know where I want to be



Not sure how I'm gonna get there

But at least now I know

just where I want to go
