When the night time comes
The time that is finally mine
All that makes me who I am
Colors and the music so fine

As I paint the colors of my life
I think about all that has past
All those things she told to me
The love and joy that would last

Black for the night
Blue for my heart

Beautiful girl
So divine

She's a mystery

Then I close my lonely eyes
Let sleep take me far away
To those places only I can go
I know that I can never stay

Sometimes I find her there
Along with those other things
Then comes the morning sun
And all the pain that it brings
