The Hon J E Slack has
passed on.
Another part of the journey
has begun.

As we close our eyes in
solemn prayer.
Unspoken thoughts from our hearts
to the messiah.

Life as the journey through
the wave of humanity
we ride.
Death bestowed on us.
But his soul is with Christ
to abide.

JES cleared a path for all
that will follow.
Expression of love reliving joy
through sorrow.

Grief sown from disbelief at the loss
of a loved one.
Hope dawn from strength of a prudent
and wise man.
