Awakened by Darkness

Awakened by darkness, we crawl, we drown, blind, bewildered, we keep falling down

A hole, into a swell of mud and rust, broken bones and faded stardust.

They say there is no hope for the broken, decayed. Old limbs, cracked smiles, and bodies displayed

Out like snake skins across the ground, who really knows if we'll ever be found.
