Designed to kill
I am a murderer of many men;
With a nature designed to kill.
And yet, like a child, You hold my hand,
And ask me to be still.

You turn my heart toward You,
And fetter me with pain.
It must be this way, I understand,
So that I may refrain.

My heart may bleed and beg for freedom,
But my nature is rabid still.
And I will find the end of my chain,
Forever bending to Your will.

You love my violence, I know You do;
I have never felt condemned.
But I wish for freedom, please let me go;
Let me ravage heart's of men.
