Embracing the Lamb
What I thought was the devil; what I fought as my foe,
What I blamed others for;

It was me all along.

Things I destroyed; my mind which did cave,
An overwhelming sadness for the lost, the depraved;

It was You all along.

And like a bridge being built to save a foreigners land,
Or the predator lovingly embracing the lamb;
With blood on my face and more on my hands,

You invite me in and wash me off,

For I am Yours,

And I was all along.
