He thinks he can trap a leprechaun.
“What’re ya doin’?

“Settin’ a trap.”

“What for?

“A leprechaun.”

“Leprechaun? Whatta’ ya want that for?”

“The gold.”

“Why? You’ll never get one! They’re hard to find. I’ve never seen one and I try to find the rainbow end where they hide the gold. How da ya know he’ll even come here?”

“I have bait.”

“What bait?”

“I found a gold coin in the attic. Leprechauns' have to collect gold coins. It’s a rule of some kind.”

“Wow! Lemmie’ see?”

“No, you’ll lose it like you always do.”

“No I won’t! Lemmie’ see!”

“Okay. If you lose it you’ll regret it.”

“If you hit me I’ll tell.”

“No you won’t because I’ll break your drone and you won’t be able to spy on the neighbors.”

“I DON’T SPY ... I’ll tell you’re gonna’ to do that!”

“Then I’ll break something else and make it look like you did it.”

“Okay, I won’t move and I’ll be the carefullest I can.”

“Here.”

“Wow! That’s real gold? It’s heavy. Heavier than others.”

“Golds heavier.”

“What is it?”

“The date says 1852.”

“It was made in 1852? Wow! That’s even older’n grandpa!”

“It’s about a hundred years older than grandpa. He was born in 1950.”

“How ya gonna’ catch him?”

“A rope noose with the coin in the center and tied to that bent tree. When he grabs the coin, snap, the rope will grab his hands and hang him up. Maybe his feet.”

“How’ll you know you got him?”

“I haven't worked that out yet. An alarm.”

“Won’t mom and dad hear it and look?”

“I haven't worked that out yet. A silent alarm.”

“What?”

“I don’t know yet. Give me the coin back.”

“I don’t have it.”

“Billy! ... Give! Me! The! Coin!”

“MOMMM, JAKES GONNA...”

“Goodbye drone?”

“Okay, Okay, here...”
