I have questions.

There is no need for introduction and
much fewer courtesies, simply a claim
of a shattered soul, I ask you
Why if you proclaim love, why do you hurt and
you overwhelm as the abyss?
if for you we are equal why do you
treat us so differently?
Why do you let us feed on you and still
we feel so empty?

I never asked for much, I never envied,
I never hated or dishonored, I only
asked for love, compassion, and refuge
for this suffering soul.

If it was too much to ask, why did not you tell me?
If you could not keep your promises,
why did not you tell me?
today I am here lost without knowing where to look,
today I have no direction because you
did not show me the path
I innocently asked you for love and nothing else.

Did I waste my time?
