Baltimore Is being invaded who will save the city and the universe
"What do you mean, no?"
"i'm sorry sir but we're no longer open come back tomorrow"
The man proceeded to yell at the lady as she locked the door to the office.
"Come on im only two minutes late and i parked all the way up on Light st."
I'm sorry but no come back tomorrow"
As he walked back to his car the man noticed all the people running the other way and turned down the alley beside the office building to dodge the traffic.
"What the hell?" he said quietly as he noticed glowing cords latching onto the building, pulsing with light blue energy.
As he turned down the next street the cords multiplied and consumed the building dragging it towards the harbor . In shock the man turned and ran back down where the alley used to be. Before he could get three steps he tripped and fell. He felt something grab his legs and lift them in the air. He looked down to see the blue cords continue to ensnare him to his neck. Too scared to say anything he looked over to where the Shipyard used to be. the Shipyard was gon, now a giant pile of debris and shipping containers lay on the far side and, A giant vortex made of the same blue stuff the cords are was over the Port where the dry docks used to be. He noticed robots ranging from small human sized to those bigger than a semi were building something around the portal. Not realizing he was close to the ground the cords loosened and dropped him on the pavement. As he stood up he saw he was in a pen made from old barbed wire fences with about 60 others, " where the fuck are we?"
One of the ladies pointed up as shadow covered them all. A man dressed in armor floated down in front of them, his eyes glowing a piercing emerald green.
"Welcome to the end," he said with aloud booming voice.
I am Lavarious, an escaped glitch and general of Lord Darius' army. we come from another universe in which we will conquer and enslave you to help us bring back The Dark One" he pointed over to the vortex over the water.
"Once the portal stabilizer is complete we will begin transporting you to build our Resurrection device and use it on the dark ones grave, and conquer every universe.
"the man walked closer to Lavarious.
"And if we refuse?"
Lavarious landed and walked over to the man.
"Than this will happen."
Lavarious pulled a small pistol looking device out and aimed it at the man. When he pulled the trigger a green bolt shot out and hit the man, before the other hostages eyes the man was consumed by the energy bolt and was disintegrated with awisp of smoke remaining.
"Anymore questions?"
The others remained quiet.
Oh, and don't expect your government to help you," He floated over to one of the robots and grabbed a remote. he pushe a button and the ground began to rumble. they all looked over to where the football and base ball stadiums were Two giant cylanders shot out of the ground and a dome of energy covered the city.
"they wont be much help"
He smirked and floated back towards the portal. As he reached one side he landed on a platform next to another armored figure Lord Darius the shield now surrounds the city theres no way for those punks to break in."
Dont underestimate them Lavarius they'll try, send the troops out on patrols i want all these insects rounded up."
Darius turned and look at the other man his eyes Burning with blue hate," and keep an eye out for these so called 'Heroes'."
"Yes,sir."
This is the cornerstone to our domination, once we conquer this backwater universe and resurect the Dark One no one will stand in our way. He smiled and turned back to watch his dream come to life.
