She gets around their problem.
"We have to get out of here!"

"Why?"

"Because the sign said we weren't supposed to be."

"What sign?"

"The one you read at the door one, Darla. Don't play dumb."

"I'm not dumb, I question."

"You don't even know what that means."

"It means I get to ask a lot of questions. Sit at that station and break in like we did earlier."

"Darla, I'm telling you we shouldn't!"

"And I'm telling you I want to know my grades tonight. I'll never sleep if I don't."

"Then you'll leave?"

"Yes."

"Your on, gimme a minute ... it's ... there, were in. Now whose class?"

"Mrs. Johnson, advanced calculus. For my thesis."

"Whoah, that A++ is going to get you noticed. Who else?"

"Mr. Richards, molecular chemistry."

"Darla, you're gonna sleep well tonight. You got top honors. He likes you. Now let's get outta here, pronto!"

"Okay, okay ... nag."

"The cars across and left."

"I remember, I am not some dumb bimbo you might have picked up."

"I don't pick up dumb bimbos, only smart ones like you. Where too?"

"Well, that's a good question. Home just moved up, but I'm still hoping you'll finally get over your shy and ask me to your place. Hhmmm?"

"Well, uhh, I, uhh think ..."

"Okay! Ian Gordon, will you let me cook breakfast for us in the morning? I do mean pancakes if you have real maple."

"Okay. I haven't used Aunt Jemima Syrup since I left home at seventeen."

"Settled. Now, I want a steak, medium rare with baked and the fixings at that new pace out on the highway."

"That'd be, Arlene's, I actually know her."

"She owns it?"

"No, I do, she runs it all for me."

"But you're a junior? What's this?"

"Here we are."

"Amazing! Can we keep seeing each ..."
