Lab Rats

The scientists wore lab coats, since currently no biohazard was present. One stretched and looked up from his work.

"Whoa! That can’t be here. This place is sealed tight, and nothing living gets past the scanners but us."

The taller man knocked the spider to the floor. The other stomped, making a crunch.

“Odd.”

Under the microscope it made sense.

“It’s robotic.” He paled.
"Let’s get the hell out of here…”

Shadows crossed the doorway.
