A man shows up late to his own funeral as a ghost.
The funeral started at noon. I am going to be late to the celebration of my own life. Or so people try to label it that way. In my human form I was constantly late to important events and now my tardiness has carried over into the spirit realm. Life was a series of moments and events where I always had to keep an eye on the clock. Now in the afterlife I have all the time in the world. Yet I'm still late. My remaining living family have always struggled to be on time as well. Upon arriving at my funeral I see that a special effort has been made to arrive before me, the guest of honor. I'm not exactly sure why I feel the need to be here witnessing my loved ones mourn me. The entire world and universe is free reign to me as a wandering spirit. Endless travel possibilities await for me.
