Whether or not to continue, Akira fights with herself. Did she make the right decision?
Not sure what her mother meant, Akira continued North as she wanted to head back home. Even though she had left home the previous night, feeling homesick was getting to Akira. Disappointing her mother wouldn't have been a good idea and Alpha wouldn't be happy either. In fact, Alpha would be furious with her if she arrived home at the moment.

Looking at the ground and walking, Akira was trying to figure out what her mother told her yesterday. "What do you mean that there is something special about me, mother?" Akira thought out loud. "Why did father think that I would be a leader?"

Even though she began her journey to somewhere, Akira found a medium size creek and took a short break. Looking at her reflection, she couldn't help but think that Alpha was right. "What's so special about me, father?" she began. "Am I cut out to be a leader?"

Not realizing how long she was staring at her reflection, it was too quiet in her surroundings. All she could hear was the wind blowing through the trees and the chirping of the birds. She even wondered if her mother was all right back with the pack. A lot was going through her head, but she couldn't let her mother down, let alone her father.

"What am I supposed to do?" Akira wondered. Tears falling into the stream as they caused ripples within her reflection. "I don't know what to do, mother. I only left the cave last night and I don't even know what to do." Akira didn't want to leave her home, but for some reason she had to prove to her brother that she was the rightful leader. But how?

Closing her eyes, Akira listened to the sound of the creek like she was trying to focus on which direction to go. While staying focused, Akira wanted to continue North. She didn't know why, but that's what she felt. Opening her eyes to see the beauty of he forest again, Akira began to walk North along the side of the creek.

Akira had no clue as to where she was heading. She was letting her paws do the walking and the feeling in which direction to go. "Hope that I won't be completely alone during this," Akira stated like she was talking to someone. "Now I want to know why I'm heading North."
She looked back in the direction where home was one last time, Akira said, "Hope you do find me, mother. I hope that alpha doesn't do anything to you."

Making her way North and keeping close to the creek, this was the first time for Akira to be out on her own. She had never been on a hunt before, but she did manage to find her own food. But she never liked being alone, though. She was used to being back at the cave with her mother while the pack had gone on hunts.

"All right, father. Mother. I hope that you two aren't wrong about me," Akira said. "I don't want to disappoint either of you."

Taking a deep breath, Akira officially began her journey to see why she should be leader of the pack. Of course to also find herself along the way.
