Well, it at least SMELLS rotten now anyways...

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
So, for those of you who aren't familiar, Armello is a strategy game that takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals. In each game, four heroes, from a current roster of 20 (only 8 of whom are in the base game), compete to be the first to slay, purify, absorb, or succeed a king who has been corrupted by the Rot. The Rot is a sort of mystical disease that twists the mind and the body. It drives people mad and also destroys their body while at the same time giving the host otherworldly power. If you've got 20 bucks to burn, it's a decent time sink.

Now that's the normal version of Armello. This interactive will, of course, be far more sexual and stench-kink oriented in nature. (You can all thank the Rotten Fog spell card for giving me this idea.) As such, I will be scratching the Kingslayer victory path, unless people can think up a decent way to implement it. Basically, instead of doom, gloom, destruction, and madness, the Rot instead makes you smell AWFUL. It also gives a major spike to your sex drive and sexual openness. Banes are still a thing though! And they can take the form of more animals than just crows! So, when the king contracted the Rot, he declared stench and hedonism to be the new law of the land, giving some people new ways to obtain power, and others a reason to set out and put a stop to the madness.

Now, this isn't going to be a simple strategy-game type thing. You actually can, and probably will, adventure through places, talk to people, and take on quests and the like. There also won't be a limit to quests like there is in Armello, so stats will not have a cap.

Now, on to the various possible endings both for victory!

Spirit Stone: The prude's way to win. Collecting four stones will fill you with Wyld energy. When filled with this, anything you touch will be cleansed of Rot. Corrupted Heroes will return to normal, Banes will melt at your touch, and the king can be restored to his former self. Be warned though, a single point of rot gained by a spell, or other means, will bring you out of the Spirit Walker state, and you'll have to find another stone!

Prestige: Victory through fame, fortune, and fucking! Upon gaining 20 Prestige Points, you will be able to approach the king and ask for his hand. So long as you have the necessary points, he will accept, and you will rule at his side!

Rot: Usurp the king by using his own laws against him! If you can defeat the king in combat while your Rot score is 10 points higher than his, or while wearing one of two special items I will discuss later, you can kill him and take the throne for yourself, ensuring that rot will rule!

Those three conditions are how you can win and get a happy ending. Now here's all the ways you can get a bad ending~ Keep in mind that, unless one of these conditions is met, any hero killed will resurrect at their Clan Grounds.

Beat to the Punch: If someone else claims a Prestige or Rot victory before you, you, along with any still living Heroes will be enslaved by the victor. If the Victor wins via Spirit Stone, everyone just kinda...goes home.

Enslaved: This can come from a variety of sources. Hypnotized for a whole day by another Hero without you, or said other hero dying and being returned to clan grounds, thus breaking the spell; being beaten by slavers during a quest or peril; fulfilling the conditions of certain rare treasures, or by losing to another Hero in combat when said hero has more than 5, but less than 10, more Rot points than you.

Royal Execution: The rot runs deep in the palace, and it interferes with the magic that keeps heroes alive. If the king manages to beat you, you will not resurrect back at the Clan Grounds.

Bane Slave: Similar to the palace, Bane infested dungeons also will not allow resurrections. If a Hero is beaten by a Bane in a dungeon, and has at least 1 point of Rot, the Bane will enslave them.

Bane Kill: Similar to the above, but if a Pure hero is beaten, they will not survive the Bane's stench.

Hero Kill: If a Hero beats another Hero while their Rot score is 10 points higher than the Hero they beat, the stench, and corruption of rot will kill the other Hero, and they will not resurrect.

Now, on to the various stats Heroes have! They can be increased by spells, items, or quests. Rot and Prestige can also be increased through other means.

Fight: Your general martial prowess. There's no dice in this, so it's mostly just there to show how hard someone is to beat.

Body: How durable you are, and your maximum Health.

Wits: Your cunning and Intelligence. Higher Wits make it easier to convince people to impede other Heroes, or assist you, for gold!

Spirit: Your magical attunement. Every night, if your magic is below this number, it will be replenished to this amount.

Rot: How corrupted you are. Every point of rot is an effective +1 to fight. Go above 4, and you become Corrupted. At this point, Spirit walkers and Stone Circles can hurt you or kill you very easily. It's at this point, your stink can start to kill, but to permanently end someone, there must be a difference of 10. Can be increased by quests, losing to Banes, beating Banes after becoming Corrupted, defeating a Rot infected Hero while being infected yourself, using dark magics, or using tainted treasures.

Prestige: Your renown across the world. It can be increased through questing, bribery, or by spreading your legs and letting word get around about how good of a lay you are.

Magic: How many spells you can cast a day. More powerful spells cost more to cast, but dark magic generally increases Rot instead of consuming Magic.

Gold: How much money you have to buy equipment, hire people do do your dirty work, or spend on other pursuits. It's gained through quests or dungeoneering mostly. There's no owning settlements in this, but they can still be fortified, making other Heroes have to take longer to pass through them. Settlements can also still be terrorized by wandering Banes.

Spells, Trickeries, Followers and Items will be left up to writer discretion! Though as stated earlier, I do have two items I wish to just put here for writer knowledge. One is the Succubus Pendant, if you make someone cum while wearing this, you can take their soul and either crush it to permanently kill them, or absorb it to enslave them. The other is the Deathstench Ring, wearing this confers an immediate 5 Rot, and treats every victory as though you beat your opponent with 10 more Rot than them.

I will allow a few kinks other than stench torture, but please be reasonable. Scat and urine are off limits as always, and while yes, there can be gore in fights, it should in no way be overdetailed or fetishized.
