I was looking out the window at all the hills, when I heard my name being called. I reluctantly turned towards the front seat to see my Dad smiling at me.
“Um...yes,” I whispered.
“We are almost at the new house. Sheila and Seth are a couple minutes behind us, so we will be there first. Are you excited?”
“Yeah, of course,” I dated sarcastically.
“Oh come on, cheer up! You are going to love it!”
I turned back to the window ignoring him. I hated moving, but I also hated my old home. I just wanted to be out in nature where nobody judged you or made fun of you.
