She loved that heavy sigh, the way it easily moved her body with little effort. It signaled he was here, he was as content as she. She certainly loved the ridged softness of his shirt against her palms and cheek when she brushed against the fabric. Oh, but nothing could compare to the gentle gestures of his hands when he held her close, the smooth leather surface that gripped her and whispered that she would never slip from it. That it would keep her safe. Though creviced and callused in places, it was a plush bed, providing warmth and comfort when it was needed most. Then again, there was that sigh, pushing her up once more and against the palm she adored. Her fingers pushed through the threads in his shirt to feel more of his skin. They were mere pricks of pills on his chest, she knew but she loved to touch his skin. His chest was firmer, rougher than the hand over her protectively and lovely. Yet she couldn't help but smile from the paper-like texture on the pads of her fingers. She felt the hairs there, turning her gaze to his head. What a cute head it was. Just the right length of hair swooping this way and that from the night. She remembered it's silky softness, the way it fluffed back up if it were pressed in or played with, as she enjoyed doing. Her eyes tracked back down, to his smile that reflected his laziness. Those lips though, when they pressed against her and release silent words of care, oh so soft and so heartwarming. His eyes watched her, blissful and mild with lashes that gave the most wonderful kisses to her face, and hers watched him, admiring and relaxed. How could she not be, ear engrossed in the beating of his strong heart, nearly feeling each pulse while cradled in security. Her lids closed, and it was her turn to sigh as the wonderful fingers behind her turned to magic. No aches or fears could be present when that magic touched her in a delicate rhythm. She wished to just lie there eternally so that she could relish the wondrous experience. So that she could be with him forever, simply enjoying the giant's presence and protection she wanted so much to be able to return.
