Depression of a Young Bride |
Not you again The voice inside my head That screams for me to end it Not you again That wretched feeling inside my stomach Which drives me crazy when I have these feelings inside Please not you again As I scream from the paralyzing nightmares that tear me from my sleep at night The ones that haunt my thoughts during the day after a sleepless night Not you again The thoughts make me walk through life like a zombie Mascara staining my eyes from countless times of tears from my terrified inner child Not you again I saw to the demon in my mind they call depression The creature that doesn’t let you see reasons worth living or breathing Not you again She said as she help onto her wedding planner Wishing you wouldn’t have ruined the most important thing she’s been dreaming of Not you again She says as she cries over her wineglass while her husband isn’t there anymore She dreams of what happy people feel like and how amazing their lives are Not you again As she shakes her fist at the demon laughing at her inside Taunting her as she tries to figure out how to fix everything Not you again She says as she knows what she has to do She writes her last few things in her wedding planner and cries Oh please not you again She’s numb and grabs the only friend she’s ever known She dreams of the warmth of her husband’s arms and hoping her knows she loves him Not you again She drags down and feels the sting of pain and the dripping down her arms She knows he will be happier without her there to be controlling Not you again The demon who won The death of a young girl Oh you again A tragedy overlooked by many A disease called depression |
