A boy mourns his friend's disappearance
The sun was setting and before it its many brandished colors were fading away below the darkening fields. Invisible from afar, young Joseph was lying hidden beneath the tall grass. He had a notebook in his hands and grim he looked upon it for it was his best friend's. He disappeared last night, folk would blame accursed dwellers of the woods beyond, while some others were suspicious of his family and others couldn't care less to pay a mind. Joseph isolated himself in order to read the book in peace which put grief to his resonated heart because all their great child-deeds were written there. He closed the book as the sun was lost and darkness swam in as a harbinger of black rain. With the resolve not to let a raindrop soak his friend's cheerful remnant he looked up to the sky as if he held a grudge to it, then sped towards the village. A ferocious wind started blowing with a howl that outmatched a hundred wolves. With great speed it went there and back again, from east to west, as a great sword wielded by some legend it cut the boy's skin. Struck by fear he found his way home opening the door as fast as he could. He slammed the door and turned back:
"Ey Josh, where have you been? Is that my notebook? Give it back!". There was no denying it, the voice illuminated Joseph and rekindled the stars above. The ring of merry villagers round Harry broke and now the two friends looked at each other beyond delight.
"I'd come hug you, after getting the book 'fcourse, but as you can see.." Harry said as he nodded at his broken leg. Then Joseph ran towards him and gave him one warm hug.
