How long was eternity as I lay pondering
Eternity is defined as an indefinite amount of time, however all people have a moment of their life that last an eternity. This is my moment, in whitechapel England I was visiting a rundown pub called The Drunkards Noose. In the pub miss evergreen greeted me with her horrible toothless smile and a pint of tap beer. I sat down at my usual table with the usual people and drunks. After about my second pint the first new face in three years showed up a American lady by the illya. Illya was a dirty blonde with her hair tied up in a long ponytail, she wasn't all that pretty as far as media portrays Americans. Of course being the gentleman I was, I invited her to take a seat at my table. Illya told us that she was in town to study the ripper. I of course thought it was a waste of time but she had something about her that made me want to help. To this day I still don't know what was so interesting about the ripper, however I knew quite a bit about the ripper being a resident of white chapel. You can't around without seeing some tourist looking for Jack the rippers trail. I was blinded by a deep attraction to illya, I invited her on a tour of the ripper murder sights. Of course it wasn't that hard to find them simply listening to the sound of the criers shouting the location of the murders as they passed by. I personally didn't pay any attention to anything but illya. She however was to absorbed in the tour and notes taking to pay me much attention. A wiser man might have backed off then and there however I never was that smart. We continued through the tours until dusk, afterwards I invited her to my favorite park where I spent most of my time. I ended up telling her it was the sight of a non canonical murder, which immediately got her attention. When we arrived I sat us beneath a willow tree of course she wasnt interested. I however said the stupidest of things. I asked her to marry me of course she didn't even notice, or perhaps she pretended not to
