Anxiety

My mind, wandering aimlessly like a stray
Leaving me to wonder what will become of my life
I can not comprehend the changes slung upon me
Thoughts in my mind, cutting silence like a knife

At night I lay awake
Hoping for an answer to this madness
Wracking my exploding mind for a solution
Waiting for an upside to my sadness

Anxieties fill my brain
Keeping me from any breath
Tying me down to my bed
All that's lurking is the dance of death

When I open my eyes
Maybe I can live once more
Fake a smile
Quiet the insane roar
