I used to live near railroad tracks.
Midnight Train

A midnight train passes by my house
Nowhere near quiet as a mouse.

Its engine roared loudly
And the horn blew loudly.

It carried a freight to a faraway place
Travelling through time and space.

Sometimes it wakes me up at night
Giving me an unexpected fright.

The midnight train comes without fail
Paying great attention to detail.
