A poem for a contest.

Chair hated his job very much
He was used to execute murders and such
Every time he'd sit and cry
He often complained and asked why?

The first one was the worst for him
Oh how he wanted to swim
He walked away once but the wires would not let him go
He felt guilty and angry so!

One day a boy came in
He was tried as an adult for his sin
The boy was seventeen what a loss
Chair had to kill the boy said the boss.

The boy was strapped in and Chair started to scream
This was not the life of his dream
The electric was turned on and the boy quickly died
All that night Chair sat and cried.

The guilt was overwhelming now
Chair wanted to leave but did not know how.

Sonnet No meter intended.
