Tonight I sit here thinking of you.
As I take in another breath.
I think about the joy that you will bring into my life.
The smile that is on my lips as I think of the future.
Sending joy throughout me,
I realize the breath I take is for you.
I hope the thoughts of me brings a smile upon
your lips, as you take a breath.
Just the sheer thought takes my breath away.
When I think of the sunrises and sunsets
that we will take together and as we hold each other
we take a breath for one another.
I realize then, what I am missing in my life.
You breathing next to me.
Since the beginning, you took my breath away.
I long for you to hold me in your arms
and whisper in my ear
