CUTE AS CAN BE

My little dragon sits on my bed,
And sleeps with me where I rest my head.
I go to school, and tell him to stay
Until my return and then we just play.

He is my very best friend
We have an oath, till the bitter end.
We climb trees and scrape our knees
And get bandaged before our teas.

He's gone now, the dragon of mine.
I grew up and crossed the line,
And am married with a son.
He and my best friend will have so much fun.
