THE CURSE OF THE SHE-WOLF PART FIVE

Chapter Five

I slowly opened my eyes to direct sunlight that shone on them. I gazed all around me and I saw trees everywhere. I realised I was in the woods. I sat up and saw the early morning sun rising up over the horizon for a brand new day.

"Good morning," a male voice said.

I turned to my left and saw Devon lying down on the ground gazing up at me with a smile on his face naked. My heart melted. "What are we doing out here?" I asked in confusion. The memory from the night before was a blur.

"We had a feast," he replied.

"What?" I asked.

Devon sat up and pointed towards a grotesque carcass of a deer. "We had quite a feast."

I turned over and puked up. I sat back up and wiped my mouth with the back of my left hand and saw deer blood. "So we were in wolf-form last night?" I asked.

He nodded his head. "That was after we scared that bitch away. I don't think she'll be giving you any more grief," he said happily. "Come here."

I moved into his arms and laid my head on his bare chest and heard his heart beating hard and fast. Suddenly, I remembered it was school. "Devon, school!" I panicked.

"Relax, we can go later, we're wolves. We can do whatever we want," he replied, casually.

"If I want to get into a good college I have to attend school," I told him. I quickly stood up. I looked around searching for our clothes. "Where are our clothes?"

"After we made love on the car bonnet we changed back into wolves," Devon told me.

"So, our clothes are back at the school parking lot?"

He nodded.

"OK, let's go!"

He stood up as well and together we let the painful wolf transformation take over.

We pulled out our human eyes to golden wolf eyes, our human skin started falling off to the ground revealing grey and black wolf fur. Our human bones broke and snapped as we screamed out in excruciating pain as they formed into wolf ones. Our backs split in two exposing black and grey wolf fur. Wolf claws grew out from our knuckles, and our faces grew out and changed into wolf ones. And within five more minutes, we were back in wolf-form running through the woods towards school on four legs.



Ten minutes later, we arrived back in the school parking lot; Luckily, no one was around just yet. So, Devon and I began to walk across the parking lot still in wolf-form, but then we saw the school's janitor walk across the lot with a set of keys.

The janitor glanced our way and his eyes widened in sheer terror and started walking backwards. He turned and ran.

We continued to walk over to the car where we had sex on and luckily our clothes were still there. We changed back into human-form and quickly placed our clothes back on.

"How do I look?" I asked him.

Devon took a step back and looked at me with a serious expression on his face.

"What?" I asked.

A cheeky smile spread across his features. "Beautiful," he replied. Devon stepped closer and kissed me lovingly on the lips.


By the time school started, the nominations for Prom King and Queen list were already up on the school notice board by the library. And both Devon and I were nominated. I couldn't believe it. Me to be nominated for prom queen? No way. I wasn't the only one shocked.

Mina Cao screamed with anger when she saw that I was on the list next to her name and Tracey Fox's.

"This is an outrage!" she cried angrily to Tracey. Mina was about to walk over to Devon and I when the door to the school opened and she gasped in admiration.

All of the students turned to look as two identical handsome brothers wearing matching outfits of jeans and black vests walked into school. They walked down the corridor and stopped in front of Devon and me.

"Devon," the twin on the left said.

Devon turned towards them and a troubled look was on his face. "Leo, Theo, what are you guys doing here?" he asked.

"There's a huge danger coming," the twin on the right named Leo told him.

Devon noticed they had an audience around them. "What?" he lowered his voice.

"The Alphas," Leo, the twin brother on the left told him seriously.
