Lilly debuts her new, sexy look in school. And Lilly and Devon scare mean girl, Mina Cao. |
CHAPTER FOUR I took a deep breath in before opening the door to my school and making my new look debut. I had makeup on my face, I wore a black and sexy sleeve-less strappy top, and a black mini skirt. I wore a pair of black four-inch heels and styled my long, black hair in loose curls. I walked with confidence down the school corridor where students stood there gawping at the new and improved me. Since becoming a wolf, a dangerous predator, for the very first time, I had never felt this much more alive. I could hear and smell things that other people could not. And it was incredible! I had this newfound confidence. Guys whistled at me as I walked. Students were actually smiling at me. "Hi, Lilly," people were saying as if they'd been friendly towards me all of the time instead of laughing and throwing things at me. My heart rose in my chest when I saw the ruggedly handsome Devon Haynes come striding casually up the corridor towards me with a smile on his face. Devon wore jeans and a black leather jacket over his short sleeved black t shirt. He took a step back and looked me up and down, admiring the new me. "My, my, Miss Nicholls, you are looking good," he said. I held my head up high with my left hand on my hip and smiled. "Why, thank you," I said with confidence. Gone was the very shy and timid little Lilly Nicholls, now was the new and improved and confident Lilly Nicholls. He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me as our eyes turned golden together. There were a few gasps of shock, but we didn't care we kissed passionately just as the bell rang for class. The school was buzzing with gossip about my new look, and Devon and I together. We sat at the back of the cafeteria away from people. But people kept on looking at us and talking. With our super wolf hearing, we could hear every word. Some of them were saying how nice I looked and how handsome Devon was. And Mina and her friends were bad mouthing us. "Who does she think she is?" Mina was asking her friends at the top table of the cafeteria on the other side. "Why can't you just leave her alone, Mina?" Tracey asked, sighing heavily. Her boyfriend, Callum, sat beside her. "Why do you have to pick on her all the time? So she's quiet and doesn't speak much big deal." "Tracey, darling, have you forgotten you were in on bullying her in the first place?" Mina reminded her. Tracey glanced over to our table and her blue eyes met mine. She turned back to mine. "No, I haven't. But I feel ashamed. I'm gonna go and apologise to her. What we've done has been mean and cruel and she doesn't deserve that," she told Mina firmly. She pulled out her compact mirror from her handbag and powdered up her nose. "Whatever," Mina replied. "All I know is Lilly Collins is a skanky freak," she replied nastily. "God, Mina, why do you have to be such a bitch?" Tracey asked, shaking her head. She turned to her. "So, I'm a bitch by speaking the truth?" Mina challenged her. I stood up as I felt the wolf within me awakening, getting ready to come out. I wanted to run over there and tear Mina Cho apart from limb to limb. Devon stood up also. "Are you sure want to make a scene?" he asked in a low voice. "I'm ready to tell that bitch what I think of her," I replied bitterly. I began walking across the cafeteria. He followed close behind. Mina glanced up. "Oh, look, it's the skank," she said. All of the students turned to watch. "Mina, what the hell is your problem with me? What have I ever done to make you hate me so much?" I demanded. "Absolutely nothing, I just don't like your skanky ass," Mina replied sweetly, standing up. "And sweetie, no one gives a crap about you. Everyone thinks you're a complete laughing stock." "You're a mean, cruel, and ugly bitch. You may have your followers right now, but soon you'll grow old and be all alone and wonder why no one likes you," I replied angrily with confidence. Some of the students started cheering and applauding. Mina looked around, fuming with anger as she stared hatefully at me. "Oh, and just be aware, Mina," I told her. "Of what?" she asked. I leant forward towards her. "Your bitchiness might just turn around and bite you." I threatened and then grinned at her sweetly. "Ciao," I added with a wave of my right hand. I turned on my heel and walked away with Devon at my side as we held hands, leaving Mina fuming. Devon and I waited in the dark shadows of the school grounds at eight o'clock at night waiting for Mina to come out of school after cheerleading practice. We saw Mina walk out of school and walk across the parking lot five minutes later. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Devon whispered to me. "Oh, yes, I'm sure," I replied hatefully. The plan was, Devon and I would scare Mina in wolf-form. "OK, let's go," he replied. We closed our eyes and gritted our teeth through the pain as the wolf transition took place. Soon we were in wolf form. We walked slowly on four legs and out of sight towards her alongside the parked cars. Mina stopped in the centre of the parking lot and looked around the dark parking lot sensing something or someone was out there. "Hello?" she called. We growled as we walked closer. She whirled around hearing the growl. "Who's there?" her voice was panicky. Mina started walking quickly again towards her car. We growled more deeply. Mina whirled around once she got to her car and unlocked it. Her eyes scanned around the lot. Her heart was thumping so hard and loudly against her chest. Her eyes widened in sheer terror as she saw us come out from hiding behind the cars and stood in the middle of the carpark. Her body didn't move as it was so scared. She screamed and threw up her arms when she thought we, as wolves, were going to kill her. "Are you alright, Mina?" I asked with concern. Mina put her arms down and saw Devon and me back in our human form with clothes on. She scanned around the parking lot. Her body was petrified. "What are you guys doing here so late?" she asked, shakily. "We were just out taking a walk and heard you scream," Devon explained, casually. "You didn't see them then?" she asked. Devon and I looked at each other in confusion and then turned back to her. "See what?" I asked. "The wolves." "Wolves? Mina, there's never been any wolves in Raven Oak." I pointed out. Mina turned and stepped into her car quickly and drove away. Devon and I looked at each other and grinned. "Mission accomplished," Devon said. "Well done, my lady." "I'm your lady, am I?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. "Oh, yes, you are. My wolf girl," he replied. Devon lifted me up onto the bonnet of a parked car as he kissed me passionately and his hands took off my top. "Are you sure you wanna do this?" I grinned and tore his top off and unzipped his trousers quickly with lust. I leaned back on the cold car bonnet as he towered over me and gasped with passion. Within minutes, I lost my virginity on the bonnet of a car with the man that I loved. |
