This is honestly a cultural poem.
Nonsensical Future

Why we always gotta talk like we ain't got no sense?

Is it just to make some cents?

leave out all the irrelevant, and make the future more prevalent.

Make our knowledge well spent, our minds less complacent

And our desires less fixated with latent content.

It's nice to have a goal, but not a life dipped in gold at the price of our souls.

A couple shiny things and you're convinced with what they showed

And deceit That they been

"Down,"

In the DM, is where the moss grows, but if you cover it with the dirt

you'll never know.

Let it compact like New York's snow, or the mac that the women carry in their purse.

It's crazy to think that we can be as stubborn as Sam I am,

Until we get in a jam, so we convert to street life and selling grams

Just to support the fam.

But it's the fast life until they slam

on the brakes bringing it all to halt

And now we're filled with thoughts, hopeful to never get caught.

But we knew wrong from right, and that mistakes are just a part of life.

At first it was just getting that chained flooded with ice or making a body cold as ice.

But is it serious enough just to take a life, and yes it's ours to live and we can't live it twice

But could you really do the unthinkable or unspeakable without thinking twice?

I'll never question why, but

Everybody want to be "with the shits" now, and become overcome with visions.

But missing the mission of the system wanting your kids.

Wow!

It makes you think for a while, but what happened to thoughts

Of making the little ones proud, or making our angels smiling down?

And now Everybody want to wear a crown, even if it's stained and bloodied.

im just trying to stay sane, and hope one day to grow old and chill in my study, and reminisce with my buddy about how our roots and culture have become so muddied.
