Too Lovely!

I met two lovely ladies in a strange little place,
It took me awhile to notice their grace.

This place had its rules which everyone followed,
step out of line you wont be welcomed tomorrow.

We were the magic to put on the show,
to please all the people as they come and they go.

I tried my hardest and really gave it my all,
kept to myself and tried hard not fall.

If the show goes well it helps all of us there,
So I kept to myself and hid my despair.

They believed I was happy, I had them all fooled!
Except these two lovely ladies who me right thru.

I am not sure how they did it or even why they cared,
but what they did next came right out of thin air!

They brought me a box wrapped up with their love and said to open it later
it came from above

I took the the box home and opened it slow,
and as I did I felt its warmth and its glow.

The box was filled with some of earths great treasures,
gifts that cannot be compared or even be measured.

They put in their art and left words from the heart.
They meant every word, as i could sure tell,
because with it came some kind of great magic spell.

I'm not sure if they know how that gift changed my life,
or how it did untangle my sorrow and some of my strife.

The gifts were too lovely as so were they,
Just two lovely ladies being too lovely one day!

When i am sad or blue i take out that box and it brings back a smile ,
of how their gift changed my world if not for always, then at least for awhile!

One small selfless act can change so much indeed,
I am proud to say these two, too lovely ladies are now part of my family!
