I hear people call me names
I hear my demons in my head
I hear my parents' sobs

I see them pointing at me

I watch as my parents look at my grades

I feel the pain in my wrist
I feel the urge to die
I feel Loneliness surround me
I feel dead even though I am alive

I believe that I am worthless
I believe that God hates me
I believe that I have no hope
I believe life is over

Then one day things change
Then one day there is a light
Then I was fading away
Then there was a life

I hear my boyfriend on the phone
I hear my friend's comforting words
I hear people telling me I matter
I hear my resistance break

I see my boyfriend smile at me
I see my friend laughing with me
I see my scars fade away
I see my life color my face

I watch as my boyfriend plays a game
I watch my friend as we race
I watch my blades be thrown away
I watch as life has meaning again

I feel my boyfriend's finger fingers card through my hair
I feel my friend drag me outside
I can feel the love I never felt before
I feel stronger than before

I believe that I can be strong
I believe that I am loved
I believe my boyfriend's kind words
I believe life might go my way

I know that I am not perfect
