A peek into the twisted thoughts of a girl driven to madness. Revolving, broken, backward.
Violets are Blue

Violets are blue,
And Roses are red.
I loved you,
But you loved her instead.

The church bells are ringing,
The choirs are singing.
I find my heart aches,
And my eyes; they are stinging.

The carpets are crimson,
The crowds have arisen.
I'm draped in teal,
And she's wearing vermilion.

Violets are blue,
And Roses are red.
I wanted you,
But you wanted her instead.

The songs plays so softly,
The solo seems off-key.
It might just be me,
And perhaps I'm faulty.

The strobe light is pulsing,
The party's in full swing.
I sit silent,
And you two are kissing.

Violets are blue,
And Roses are red.
I loved you,
But you loved her instead.

The church bells stop ringing,
The choir's not singing.
My psyche's on fire,
And my throat; it is clogging.

The carpets are skirted,
The crowds have departed.
The velvet is soft,
And the wood seems contorted.

Violets are blue,
And Roses are red.
I wanted you,
But you wanted her instead.

The song still plays softly,
I know something's off-key.
It sours within me,
And surely seems salty.

The world keeps on spinning,
The children keep grinning.
I stay empty,
And darkness is winning.

Roses are red,
And Violets are blue.
It's her fault you're dead,
But I'm to blame, too.
