Hope

Hope
A word that says so much
can be shattered with just one touch.
I had so much to strive for;
now it’s just another closed door.

Hope
A word that means so much
can be given with just one touch.
After years of pain and despair,
now I know you truly care.

Hope
A word that gives so much
can be built with just one touch.
A future full and bright,
I no longer fear the night.
