poem written during a slight panic attack
blood
dripping
gliding
seeping
across the white carpets,
staining pure
staining innocent

hammers
dyed crimson
glistening
in the silver moon
reflecting every beam
of light
dented.
denting.

bodies still
mangled
draped and slumped
in each corner
and over each rail

demands
not followed
unobeyed
regreted decisions
unawarely made
poorly thought out
demands
regrets
mistakes
life.

grass,
stained
twisted
reddened
no longer vibrant
and green,
dew colliding
with every splatter
live happily.
easier said than done.

rose petals
blowing in the breeze
a reminder
of young love lost
shielding stars
until they are pulled
to the ground,
weighed down
by blood,
spilled from one who once loved

and hearts
were knotted
and torn
and throbbing
and chests
were heaving
and shaking
and pounding

everything lost
in a single day
everything gone
with a single word
everything missing,
detached,
alone.

painfully alone.
painfully in solitude.
painfully things are done.

push through.
maybe.
stay still.
probably.
willingly.
no.
