About my son.
Me a man from head to toe,
My son the first, I'll tell you so.
Once a boy and soon to grow,
For how long, I'm not to know.

Created this, nine months the wait.
For all my life, I dedicate.
My son the first, it scares me so,
That soon one day, I have to go.

Every night, he lay to sleep.
Every morning, food to eat.
But when I'm old and time has come.
As a dad, my work is done.

So when I'm gone, my son all grown,
I hope the Lord to walk him home.
