A Pay Off, with Bonus

A chance to now be criticized,
Performance, year's review -
To pass or fail is analyzed,
But concern is overdue.

I generally meet approval,
I don't slip out the door.
No re-orgs or removal,
A bonus, one year more.

But who knows how to play this game
And make this party last?
These politics are tragic, lame,
And paychecks are amassed.

Ribbon's cut, the champagne's broken,
Ship can now set sail -
Now that management has spoken,
